We’re building breakthrough graph computing acceleration based on 4-years of government-funded research at the University of Chicago and Purdue University. Chicago UpDown is a talented technical team graph application, software, and hardware designers bringing the power of efficient algorithms and data structures to large-scale graph problems and beyond! (accelerators that are easy to program!)
We’re located in beautiful downtown Chicago, a vibrant neighborhood of restaurants, museums, residences, and shopping. We’re perched on the edge of Grant Park!
Creativity and Co-design
All too often computing innovation is siloed; constrained by “what is” today, and not reaching for “what is possible”. We believe that through intelligent application-software-hardware co-design, new synergies can emerge. And when they do, it empowers important APPLICATIONS, but also software and hardware architecture. UpDown systems can achieve 100-fold higher performance WITH dramatic improvements in software programmability! (accelerators don’t need to be difficult to program)
